Provided Services

I am a 1995 graduate of the University of Minnesota CVM, and I’ve been a board certified anesthesiologist as the primary “paying” gig of my career. After spending more than 2 decades at my alma mater, I migrated south and am currently based at NC State in Raleigh, NC. I’ve always had strong interests in acupuncture, herbal medicine and other integrative approaches, and have pursued post-graduate training in many modalities. I met Dr. Erin Bannink at the A Time to Heal Veterinary Herbal course series, and continue to consult with her for management of my 2 pets – an 11 yo FS Boxer with epitheliotropic lymphoma and an 11 yo Brussels Griffon-X diagnosed this summer with grade 1 pulmonary adenocarcinoma. Selfishly, I am taking this course to benefit my own pets, but I am also becoming part of the Omega Transitional Care Service at NCSU, which is designed to support terminally ill and aging pets. I hope to offer services to clients who choose to not pursue traditional chemo options, or when chemo is perhaps not the best option.
