Dr. Betty Myers

Dr. Myers grew up in the southeast where she rode horses seriously; Pony Club, played tennis, and graduated high school in Florida. She then went on to college in NC where she obtained a degree in fine art. She enjoyed hiking and discovered music. She worked in a local theater. She then went on to work for the Maryland Department of the Environment. Here she ran a large riding program. She lived on the water in NC although she prefers the mountains.

Dr. Myers went to vet school at Virginia Maryland as a career change and graduated in 2001. During that time she tracked equine. She’s worked at 5 practices since she graduated and has been at Clevengers Corner in Amissville, VA for 9 years. She studied acupuncture at the Chi Institute. She has, personally and professionally, had a growing interest in integrative medicine, as she feels there is a phenomenal amount of wisdom in the world. For fun she enjoys weight lifting, gardening, and kung fu. She loves to practice, and finds that the more intuitive and integrative she gets, the better she practices.
